It’s finals all this week so I’m trying not to feel too guilty about spending time running. Today was my scheduled LSD run and I was super worried…
But then this happened:
Besides the fact that I was attacked by a wasp during the last km, the run was super easy! I definitely granny-jogged the first half and then picked up the pace for the second half as I became more confident that I could finish the distance.
The Sun Run is only 2 weeks away and I’ve decided to incorporate it into my training schedule as a tempo run and hopefully beat my time from last year in the process. Following a training schedule is working! Why didn’t I do this last year?!
